I literally woke up singing this song, i guess it was part of my lost dreams sountrack? Iunno, good song though, been forever since i heard it last i had plum forgotten everything except the kick ass beat and the amazing vocals. The version i was si ging was just deep mumbling LOL

As good as this is musically, it totally misses the point of the track, which is to be haunting, simple, and subtlety beautiful

How truly wonderful to be a child, hearing 'The Great Pumpkin Waltz' in 1966 and not even realizing that we were being exposed to a masterful jazz waltz! All we felt and heard was the joy of 'Schroeder'. Musical joy given to children is a gift that never dims.
